Watson Pharma is an OSD Manufacturing facility at Goa. The project was to upgrade and have a complete new facility with new equipment. The capacity of the facility was increased from 0.6 Billion to 6.0 Billion tablets/capsules by adding additional lines and machinery, new HVAC system, Electrical power capacity enhanced for new facility and Purified water system had been installed in new Production Building.
The project included a conceptual study of an existing clinical facility from a civil, fire safety, HVAC and infrastructure angle. IPS International performed an overall study of the facility from the above disciplines and developed a Basis of Design document. IPS International then proceeded to detail design where civil related items such as architectural details for the lab areas, central utility building including a closed loop chilled water system, structural details including the utility building, a new fire hydrant system including a ring main, sprinkler system, fire alarm system, a new electrical system including PCC, MCC and DBs, single line diagrams for the new HVAC, lighting and fire alarm system, a new HVAC systems including AHU, Chillers, duct design and routing and piping design. Infrastructure development including new security blocks, parking spaces, roads and storm water drains were also designed in detail. The project was executed from the Hyderabad office.
The project was a conceptual study for a new sterile fill finish facility. The production building (utilizing Isolator Design for the fill finish equipment) overall concept design for Architectural alone was from the USA while the warehouse, utility building, labs, Canteen Block, Administration block, Roads, Transformer yard, ETP, Scrap Yard, Fire Hydrant System and pipe racks were from IPS International (Hyderabad). All utility and equipment were selected by IPSI and locations finalized including structural details such as column locations, sizes of the columns, and a stability study. IPS International is scheduled to start the detailed engineering for the facility including Architectural, Structural, Plumbing, Process, HVAC, Mechanical and Electrical shortly. The project shall be executed from the Hyderabad office.
The project was to evaluate their existing HVAC design and BOQ prepared. IPS International (Hyderabad) independently performed a design review and a GAP analysis of the existing design, developed a BOQ based on our observations and noted deviations from the actual design. In addition IPS-USA has been contracted to develop a Validation Master Plan (VMP) for the facility and IPS International is currently performing Design Reviews for the Vivarium and shall execute the validation of the facility as and when required.
The project consists of a conceptual cost estimate for a new OSD facility catered towards contract manufacturing and multiple products / multiple ingredients with an annual output of about 2 Billion tablets per year. As part of the engineering effort, IPS developed an overall site plan, internal conceptual production building details, process equipment list and a cost estimate for the new facility. The project was executed from the Hyderabad office.
Associated Capsules is a leading manufacturer of hard gelatin capsules with several factories in India and abroad. The project was to do a conceptual study for the new facility at Shirawal, near Pune and then provide a complete detailed engineering design for the facility.
Albert David is a leading OSD manufacturer and they wished to put in place a Microbiology laboratory, QA/QC laboratory and also a R&D unit. The design is complete and detail engineering is in progress. All design have been certified by IPS USA as meeting FDA/ CGmP requirements.
The project is to design a facility for the manufacture of vaccines. The live virus will be imported and grown in the laboratory. At present, the design is in progress.
The project was a conceptual study for a new sterile fill finish facility. The production building (utilizing RABS for the fill finish equipment) overall concept design for Architectural alone was from the USA. All other buildings including the centralized warehouse, utility building, QA/QC labs, Microbiology Labs, Canteen, Administration block, Roads, Transformer yard, ETP, Scrap Yard, Fire Hydrant System and pipe racks were conceptualized by IPS International (Hyderabad). All utility and equipment were selected by IPSI and locations finalized including structural details such as column locations, sizes of the columns, and a stability study. The project was executed from the Hyderabad office.
The project consists of a master plan to renovate the existing production building to incorporate several new Capsule making machines, including a complete renovation of the existing lab areas, office areas, warehouse and utilities including new chillers, boilers, air compressors, AHU’s etc. IPS International also developed the infrastructure to accommodate a new utility block, new transformer and HT/LT panels, PCC, MCC panels and cable routing to the existing building. IPS International is currently performing detailed engineering for the facility including Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical and Fire Hydrant and Safety systems. The project is being executed from the Hyderabad office.
The project consisted of a complete rework on the existing purified water and jacket water lines to 5 reactors. The piping design, line sizing, isometrics and on site supervision for the work was completed. In addition to the main headers and sub connections, instrument locations and instruments were installed including flow meters, automated butterfly valves, automated solenoid valves, hose connections and soft water lines to a new sink.
